Location: Brandon, MS

Description: Complete liftstation rehabilitation including: New Pumps, Bypass Pump Installation, Wetwell Coating and Man-hole Recovery.

Welcome to Appleridge pump station, the largest pump station in the city of Brandon.
Millions of gallons of sewer pass through this small piece of land every week.
This is one of those places a break down is not an option. However after decades of service that possibility was growing closer and after the loss of one of the 160HP submersible pumps, something had to be done.

To the right: The new 159Hp Homa submersible pump is almost ready to be put in.
Below: Appleridge Pump station has multiple back up systems including an Auto Transfer generator, and Cornell bypass pump, which during this project was permanently piped into the station.

|
To the left: Appleridge began with a single lift station but as time has gone on the pumps have gotten to big and both pumps could no longer fit in a single station. A second wet well was added over a decade ago. One pump in each wet well. In this upgrade, the top sections of each wet well were removed and replaced with high strength aluminum grating for ease of access.

As a smaller side project, one of the manholes directly outside of the pump station was found to have fallen into disrepair. With the aid of D&W Systems the manhole was coated and sealed with Permaform with ConShield.
The pictures below display the before and after results of this process.
